The Unpopular Opinions of Isaac Simpson and the Implications of Charles Disney
Tuesday Aug 14, 2018
Tuesday Aug 14, 2018
Media superstar Isaac Simpson went on two other podcasts and we have the clips to prove it!
First up: comedian Josh Denny has Isaac on and tells tall tales about Charles! Charles responds.
Then: Isaac goes on Unpopular Opinion to talk Russiagate and locks horns with the rest of the show, especially cohost Brett Rader whose behavior and argument style is closely examined.
Also: reader email, was The Last Jedi leftist propaganda, and the joys of staying up late.

Minisode: Obama Porn
Thursday Aug 09, 2018
Thursday Aug 09, 2018
Time for a brief look at former Illinois State Representative Nick Sauer, who was caught doing some very weird catfishing using an ex-girlfriend's naked photos! Frank Traynor is back to help ask: what was Sauer's specific kink? Will sex scandals actually BE scandals in the future? When will we see a Presidential penis pic? (Hopefully soon!)
More: Frank wants to see an Obama porn while Isaac is disgusted by Michelle Obama. For some reason soccer is also discussed.

WeWork Meat Ban
Tuesday Aug 07, 2018
Tuesday Aug 07, 2018
Frank Traynor joins the show for a look at the new "no meat meal" policy at WeWork. Is this employer overreach or is it the kind of corporate activism you can get behind? Isaac is in support, Charles has reservations, and Frank thinks it's all just a publicity stunt.
Also discussed: annoying tech industry jargon, the irresistible temptation of Facebook trolling, and the very first instance of someone besides Isaac getting the "one of our attorneys" button!

Minisode: We Hated Your Wedding
Thursday Jul 26, 2018
Thursday Jul 26, 2018
If one's wedding is supposed to demonstrate one's unique personal qualities, why are they all so much the same? This is the issue explored on today's episode of "2 Grumpy Men Complain About Things."
Isaac has just returned from yet another wedding and is exhausted by the standard wedding script it seemed to follow. Isaac pledges to have a different kind of wedding.
Charles shares a horrifying story about the worst wedding he ever attended, and provides his own theories about why matrimonial ceremonies are so regularly awful.
TL;DL - don't get married! Everyone will hate you.

When Listeners Attack: Mailbag Edition
Tuesday Jul 24, 2018
Tuesday Jul 24, 2018
The podcast has received lots of feedback lately and it is read! Listeners express mixed feelings on Josh Denny, criticize Isaac's movie opinions, and even attack other listeners! Isaac and Charles recap the Josh Denny megasodes and where they individually went wrong.
Isaac describes the annoying circumstances afflicting "Under the Silver Lake," the followup to "It Follows" that is receiving some social justice criticism which has resulted in its release date being pushed back.
Also in this episode: Isaac makes two shocking revelations and everyone is annoyed by Ben Shapiro's voice and product-shilling.

NYC Still Sucks
Tuesday Jul 17, 2018
Tuesday Jul 17, 2018
A followup to last year's episode "NYC Sucks," which was about how New York City had seemingly lost some of its magic. Now there's a long piece in Harper's by Kevin Baker discussing how the city is being gutted by the ultra-wealthy (https://harpers.org/archive/2018/07/the-death-of-new-york-city-gentrification/). Baker's piece describes skyrocketing residential and commercial rents, the destruction of public spaces, and the ensconcement of the mega-rich in their own private castles.
Isaac and Charles compare NYC's circumstances to that of San Francisco and Los Angeles, and Isaac suggests a mayoral campaign based on an explicitly anti-homeless message.

Plane Bae? More Like Plane Gay!
Tuesday Jul 10, 2018
Tuesday Jul 10, 2018
An examination of Plane Bae is first on the list of this episode detailing popular Internet grievances. Charles thinks the woman documenting Plane Bae is in the wrong but Isaac surprisingly finds it harmless! Once again Isaac posits that women are hypergamous by nature and will always desire high status men.
Then it's time for a look at Adam Bloom, a Winston-Salem man who called the police on a black woman at a swimming pool. Should he have lost his job?
Also discussed: Sarah Huckabee Sanders's Dinner Adventure, whether the gay identity is a choice, and the poisonous nature of online discourse.

A Very Stale Movie Episode
Tuesday Jul 03, 2018
Tuesday Jul 03, 2018
In keeping with our policy of supplying you with only the hottest takes on the most current topics, NAHF brings you an episode about films that came out last year. Yes, it's July of 2018 but that won't stop us from talking about movies from 2017. Discussed: Ladybird! Isaac dislikes, Charles likes. The Disaster Artist! Isaac hasn't seen but dislikes, Charles has seen and dislikes. Call Me By Your Name! Isaac has seen 75% and is grossed out, Charles has seen 100% and loves!
Also discussed: the hot docs from Dances With Films, why production people are so annoying, and which episodes are NAHF canon!

Awful Podcast Merch
Tuesday Jun 26, 2018
Tuesday Jun 26, 2018
An episode dedicated to what really matters: looking at the awful merchandise ("merch") peddled by people who should know better, like Sam Harris, Dave Rubin, Sword and Scale, and more! Isaac and Charles run through some of the standards, like overly-pricey mugs, T-shirts with cringey stuff on them, and a general sense of disrespect for the fans who would be tempted to purchase these items.
Also discussed: listener feedback from the incel episodes, the four stages of culture, and ankle-showing pants.
